Portrait photography is perhaps one of the more challenging avenues of photography. Technique and lighting are important, but the relationship a photographer develops with the subject, even if only given five minutes, is even more important. I have photographed celebrities, children, and CEOs and my favorite advice that I live by is ‘Treat normal people like rock stars, and rock stars like normal people’.
