Workshops are a great opportunity to get hands on with learning about photography. Participants are encouraged to try new things, and be hands on with their own camera so that they know how to apply new ideas and techniques after the workshop. Group sizes are managed so there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions available to everyone.
Workshops are run by Master Photographer Matt Palmer, with assistance from special experts where it would benefit.
Subjects we can explore include;
Shooting manually on your DSLR – how to get started in a way that makes sense!
An introduction to editing photographs on the computer
Using Adobe Lightroom and incorporating it into your workflow – beginners and pros should be taking advantage of this program!
On-Camera Flash – how to balance your light and take killer photos at events, parties, and in situations where you have to work quickly
Off-Camera Flash – will change your life!
Location Scouting – finding great locations to photograph in
Developing Personal Projects – from conception through to the finished project
Entering the AIPP Awards – get in depth feedback and help curating your entry as well as an insight into the mind of a photographic judge
